My first Linux desktop enviornment

After 72+ hours' work, I finally have Gentoo 2.6 hardened (a linux distribution) up and running. To install this distribution, I started from stage1: complie the source codes. Although this is not my first time working with *nix but this is the first time I used desktop enviornment
